If you’re hearing a loud ticking or tapping noise from your engine, especially on a cold start, your Toyota Avalon’s exhaust manifold may have a crack or a leaking gasket. This direct-fit replacement is designed to solve that problem. On many modern V6 Avalon models, the catalytic converter is integrated directly into the exhaust manifold, so a failure of either component requires replacing the entire assembly. A failing catalytic converter can also trigger a Check Engine Light and cause reduced engine performance.
